I am, first and foremost, an artist, or at least I hope I am. A writer, or a visual artist, whichever medium is handiest at the time. Due to time constraints and attention span, I am usually a writer, but you may get some art peices posted here.

Here you will likely encounter my fanfiction, at the moment for certain my LOTR fanfiction, which has great inspiration at the moment. I also write Final Fantasy 7, which may or may not be posted here. If you are interested, it is on my fanfiction.net account under the same name. LOTR-wise, the characters I adore are Faramir, Boromir, Eowyn, Aragorn, and Arwen. Thus I write a lot of late 3rd Age and a lot of early 4th Age fanfic.

So that readers may know: I write a mix between movie-verse and book-verse LOTR. So be prepared for light-haired Gondorians. But also be prepared for non-evil Denethor, and from time to time Nazgul with glowing eyes.

About me:
Besides writing, I love animals, my siblings (I have two), learning, meeting people, springtime, and ham sandwiches. I have been told I would make a reasonable hobbit.

I do not like swearing, so I would really appreciate it if people do not do so commenting on my journal. I also do not write slash, nor do I ever intend it in my stories, but if that is how you wish to read them, I will not make a fuss.

Other than that, I am here predominantly for the community, for which I am grateful every time I interact with someone here. Thank you, all of you who welcomed me so wonderfully to livejournal.

My livejournal "mentor" so to speak, FlitterFlutterFly (lj handle flitter_fly), is the main reason I am here, along with the community tolkien_weekly. So go show them some love, if you feel so inclined! :D

A format key for all of my stories, since I try to keep this consistent:
Thoughts are in italics.
Italics in the middle of ordinary text = emphasis.

Other technical notes will be in individual stories.
